👥 Teams User Guide
📖 Introduction
The Teams feature in Rematch Pro allows you to create and manage teams for participating in tournaments, scrims, and competitions. This guide will walk you through the process of team creation and member management.
Creating a Team
Prerequisites
- You must be registered and logged into Rematch Pro via Discord
Steps to Create a Team
- Access the Dashboard
- Log in with your Discord account
- Navigate to your personal Dashboard
- Navigate to Teams Section
- Click on "Teams" in the main menu
- Select "Create New Team"
- Fill in Team Details
- Team Name: Enter a unique name for your team
- Team Logo: Upload an image for the logo (supported formats: PNG, JPG)
- Country: Select the team's country of origin
- Description: Add a brief team description (optional)
- Confirm Creation
- Review all entered details
- Click "Create Team"
- You will automatically become the team Owner
Managing Team Members
How to Invite New Members
Direct Invitation
- Access Team Settings
- Go to your team page
- Click on "Manage Team" or the settings icon
- Members Section
- Select the "Members" tab
- Click "Invite Member"
- Enter Invitation Details
- Discord Username: Enter the player's Discord username
- Custom Message: Add an invitation message (optional)
- Send the Invitation
- Click "Send Invitation"
- The player will receive a notification
- The invitation expires after 7 days
Open Recruitment
- Enable Recruitment
- In team settings, enable "Open Recruitment"
- Manage Requests
- Join requests will appear in the "Pending Requests" section
- You can accept or reject each request individually
Managing Invitations and Requests
For Owners/Captains:
View Pending Invitations
- Go to "Team Management" → "Invitations"
- See the status of all sent invitations
- You can cancel invitations not yet accepted
Approve Join Requests
- Check the "Pending Requests" section
- Review the player's profile:
- Game statistics
- Tournament experience
- MMR/Ranking
- Click "Accept" or "Reject"
- Add a note if rejecting (optional)
Removing Members from the Team
- Access Member List
- Go to "Manage Team" → "Members"
- Select the Member
- Click the three dots next to the member's name
- Select "Remove from Team"
- Confirm Removal
- Click on "Remove" and confirm
Roles and Permissions
Role Hierarchy
🔴 Owner
Permissions:
- ✅ All administrative permissions
- ✅ Transfer team ownership
- ✅ Delete the team
- ✅ Modify all team settings
- ✅ Manage all members and their roles
- ✅ Register team for tournaments
🟡 Captain
Permissions:
- ✅ Invite new members
- ✅ Remove players (not other captains)
- ✅ Modify team information
- ✅ Register team for tournaments
- ✅ Manage join requests
- ❌ Cannot remove owner or other captains
- ❌ Cannot delete the team
🔵 Player
Permissions:
- ✅ Participate in tournaments and scrims
- ✅ View team information
- ✅ Leave the team voluntarily
- ❌ Cannot invite other members
- ❌ Cannot modify team settings
Promoting/Demoting Members
- Change a Member's Role
- Only Owners can promote to Captain
- Go to "Members" → Hover on the member
- Click on the blue star icon
- Transfer Ownership
- Only the current Owner can transfer ownership
- Go to "Team Settings" → "Transfer Ownership" or go to "Members" and hover on the player and click on the yellow crown icon

Q: Can I be a member of multiple teams at once?
A: Yes, you can. Although for each tournament you can only play it with one team.
Q: How long does a player have to accept an invitation?
A: Invitations expire after 7 days. After this period, you'll need to send a new invitation.
Q: Can I change the team name after creation?
A: Yes, Owners and Captains can modify the team name in settings.
Q: How many members can a team have?
A: Unlimited.
Q: What happens if the Owner leaves the team?
A: The Owner must transfer ownership before leaving.
Q: Can I re-invite a rejected invitation?
A: Yes, you can re-invite a player who rejected a previous invitation. There are no limitations on the number of invitations.
Q: How can I find players for my team?
A: You can:
- Use the Open Recruitment feature
- Post announcements in VRG Discord channels
- Search for players using the search function
- Use the "Looking for Group" to meet potential members
